What’s it good for?

Food Fix gives you a massive 2g of omega-3 in every serving and is a good source of: Protein + Folate + Dietary Fibre + Vitamins A, C and B12.

Food Fix contributes to:

  • Normal energy metabolism and production
  • Reduction of tiredness and fatigue
  • Heart health
  • Normal skin health and wound healing
  • A proper feeling of fullness from eating a meal

All packed and ready to go
Food Fix gives you the best produce the sun, sea, and earth can make. Mouse over each ingredient if you want to know what’s good for you.

How does Food Fix help you feel full?
Food Fix includes chia seeds, which absorb 10 times their weight in fluid and quickly form a gel once added to water. So when you mix your Fix, the expanded seeds and resulting “chia gel” fill your tum to the happy point of satisfaction.

Chia who?
Originally cultivated by the Aztecs, chia seeds are stepping back into the spotlight as a modern superfood. The chia seeds in Food Fix give you:

  • Omega-3 (1250% RDI)
  • Calcium
  • Protein
  • Natural dietary fibre

Plus they taste nice. Mildly nutty. And unlike their omega-3 rivals, flax seeds, chia seeds don’t need to be crushed in order to release omega-3s into your system for absorption. They’re easygoing that way.

  • Health and weight loss go hand in hand when I use Food Fix as a meal replacement. I am quite happy to have a Food Fix shake instead of lunch or supper, which means I’m getting closer and closer to my ideal weight.

  • I go to the gym every day and have taken all the different supplements. Food Fix is definitely better than a protein shake since you get nutrition and a plant-based source of protein.

Hello, Gorgeous! Real Beauty Secrets

Ask five people what it means to be beautiful and you’ll get five different answers, probably along the lines of:

“Beauty is skin only deep.”
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
“You have to suffer to be beautiful.”
“Real beauty comes from within.”
“You are beautiful, no matter what they say…”

But if you ask us, having the right amount of energy will always give you a beauty boost. It’s one of those simple things we all know but tend to shrug off: When you feel good, you look better. You smile more, for a start, when you feel like you can do all the things you need to.

Here are our top five beauty secrets:

FoodFix_TheFun_01

1. Sleep

Getting the right amount of sleep not only helps you look more relaxed, it can help you maintain your waistline. Harvard Women’s Health Watch notes, “Chronic sleep deprivation may cause weight gain by affecting the way our bodies process and store carbohydrates, and by altering levels of hormones that affect our appetite.” How much sleep do you need? It’s different for everyone, but 7-9 hours is the average for healthy adults.

2. Water

Sometimes beauty does come in a bottle. Healthier skin and hair are just two of the beauty benefits associated with getting 6-8 glasses of water a day. Pour your daily dose into a sports bottle so it’s easy to sip your way through the day. And try to avoid sodas and other sweetened drinks. It’s hard to develop a taste for water if you’re used to sugary blasts of corn syrup or artificial sweetener.

3. Activity

Like sleep, the amount of activity you need to feel and look your best is completely individual. There are so many ways to lose weight, gain strength, and improve flexibility, but the “right” one is the one you enjoy doing. Give yourself permission to try different activities until you find the thing that moves you. Ultimate Frisbee, anyone?

4. Food

You know what we’re going to say, but the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) says it even better: “Fruits and vegetables are part of a well-balanced and healthy eating plan. Helping control your weight is not the only benefit of eating more fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables also provide essential vitamins and minerals, fiber, and other substances that are important for good health.”

5. Time

Whether you want to adjust your weight, improve your skin, or tone your muscles, transformative change takes time. Set target dates for results in weeks, not days. Generally you’ll feel changes before you see them. So be kind to yourself and give your good work time to blossom.

Meditate on Buddha fruit with us.

Some people train fruit to grow in a Buddha shape by enclosing young buds in special plastic containers. But we’re not talking about peaceful pears.

Low-calorie Siraitia berries, also known as Buddha fruit or monk fruit, help make Food Fix naturally sweet. Certain saponins in the fruit are nearly 300 times sweeter than sucrose, the main component of cane or beet sugar, so a little goes a long way. No guilt, no artificial ick, just pure goodness worth thinking about.
